Flyers to pay more for security fee from July 1

Amid rising airfares, flying from July 1 will mean shelling out Rs 20 to 115 more for security, too. The government has hiked passenger security fee (PSF) of domestic departing flyers from Rs 130-150. For international departures, PSF will be raised from $3.25 - 4.85 - a hike of about Rs 112. The new rates, called aviation security fee, will be applied from July 1.
