Delta to resume Mumbai-New York JFK nonstop after a decade from December 22

US carrier Delta will resume Mumbai-New York JFK nonstop from December 22. Delta first started this route in 2006 but stopped the same in 2009 “as illegally subsidized Middle East carriers made the route untenable.” Since then, United is the only US carrier to fly to India. Among Indian carriers, only Air India flies to US with over 30 weekly nonstops.
